Before anything, I would like to thank those of you who brought a ray of light on my 35th birthday Saturday, September 4th with either an email, a hug, phone call, little gift and/or food/cakes etc... you contributed at "loteria/chalupa" night at SYM. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM of my little obese heart. The summer is now officially over and a part of the past, but we have memories to hold on too and "pics" galore. Now, we have the fall to think about. Hmmm? Well, let me paint some mental pictures. Again, these are some ideas that I would love for us to do as a group in the near future. Now that the heat should be a little less and less stress for the "verijas" perhaps we can go to the Brownsville Events Center and play some tennis or go to the bowling alley. Something that involves a bit more movement rather than a restaurant or a movie. SYM needs to loose a total of 500 lbs as a group - so let's select the date guys! It is football season and it would be fun to go and support our High School's football team at Sams or up the valley. Heck! If you're not into football - enjoy the halftime show. Yo, si le voy - si le voy a los de Brownsville! OOps Los Fresnos too J.P. ! wink Gooo Raiders! Eagles! Cowboys!Vikings! Lobos! Falcons! Reminder: Pigskin is just around the corner. Let us all get tickets for that! The new SYM Craze seems to be the ever-so-popular mexican game, "Loteria." At least I think that is what they call it, i'm not really sure what that game is all about. It deals with mexican people, articles and stuff. It's like the spanish version of Monopoly. Click on the link for more information on that. Loteria/El Gallo.com With cooler autum nights it should be a lot better for the traditional SYM barbecues as well. I am looking forward in making my barbecued miniature 'riatas' that I have not been able to take to the last 5 parties. Please people of America - I have the right. Next time give the nacho & cheese dish caserole to someone else. And there is Valentinos & Bucanas which we will continue to visit for sure in the weeks to come. Has anybody gone to Hurricanes?? Let us know and post an article on that. THE NEXT BIG EVENT WE ALL HAVE TO START PLANNING FOR AND WHAT WE'RE GONNA WEAR ETC..... is Splash.
