" Happy New Year!" That greeting will be said and heard for at least the first couple of weeks as a new year gets under way. I simply hope that everyone will begin with a good and happy new year.

Most of us will be busy trying to make some meaningful New Year's Resolutions at the beginning of the year, all of which are designed to help us improve our life and motivate us to greater things during the next 12 months, so to speak. It is difficult trying to select the perfect one. Hopefully, we will select one that will make us a better person with ourselves and with others. It would be nice if we could be able to select some for 'certain' friends of ours, don't you agree? This year however, I'd like to suggest to try something a bit different. Instead of coming up with New Year's Resolutions, I want you to come up with New Year's Realizations.

2006 was a bitter sweet year for me. A death in my family and the year I saw my favorite singer made it a memorable and unforgettable year for me. I met many new friends, got closer to certain friends of mine and some of my old friends drifted farther apart from me. I accept life as it comes whether it is my doing or not. It was a fun year. So many outings, socials and other get togethers made it extra special. We are currently planning some big ones for this coming year. Just wait and see. It will be a blast. I have done something different this year. I have written things and places I went too and that I've done. I want to make sure that I do those special things again and I also want to plan new ones. I want 2007 to be extra - extra special and fun. I have so many ideas and yearnings for the coming months, I can only wish that I am able to full fill them all, if not most of them.
