And the fans came one by one and for some, two by two.... ready, eager, excited, curious and anxiously waiting for "Confessions" to begin. By far this was definitely the best Madonna Party in Brownsville and in the RGV. The most anticipated concert of the year was soon to begin and Madonna fans walked in to their party and received a 'Confessions' bracelet as a "welcome and thank you" for attending this unforgettable and joyous event which would be soon marked in their memory - forever as the Truth Or Dare DVD was being played in the background. In total surprise and in awe, the attendees walked around as if they were at a Madonna Museum and viewed the decor of posters, lights, books and magazines galore. From recent pictures of the Confessions Tour and album to classic and vintage posters of True Blue, Vogue, Erotica, Evita, Ray of Light, Dick Tracy plus the 80's, Blonde Ambition and Girlie Period were all at hand and then some. Everyone walked with a huge one mile smile on their face as they checked out the memorabilia of their true #1 Diva. As the concert was about to begin, the lava lamp and black lights were turned on and the VIP necklaces were given to everyone for their front row seating. The infamous ICON began her show with Future Lovers and arrived inside a giant disco ball that resembled a spaceship. Madonna had arrived! Everyone at the Madonna Party were ecstatic and enjoyed cosmos, appletinis and other drinks as strawberries and other fruits were served with cream in addition to mini pumpkin and pecan pies. From Get Together, Like A Virgin, I Love New York, Music and Hung Up - every song was enjoyed and all eyes were glued to the television. Soon after the concert ended a delicious and classy dinner with all the trimmings, drinks and several deserts was prepared for all Madonna fans. During this time everyone was talking and expressing their thoughts over Confessions. Other than the omitted part of the cross, cut dialogue and continuous commercials, everyone was happy and satisfied. After the scrumptious dinner everyone returned to the living room to play and be part of a fun Madonna game. Several of Madonna's new-packaged DVD's and CD's were given away such as Dick Tracy, A League of Their Own, Who's That Girl, Four Rooms, Get Together Maxi Single, Hung Up, Remixed and Revisited and an actual key chain from a Confessions concert and other gifts. Everyone was happy to be a winner and those who did not win a gift, no need to worry because the best was yet to come. A beautiful 8x10 framed Madonna picture with a hanging disco ball was given to each and every person that attended the party. All twenty plus people in attendance were clapping and yelling. What a night to remember!! This will go down as one of the best parties we will probably ever give. How can we top that? The only thought that pops to mind is having Madonna make a surprise appearance in the evidence of its brilliance!!!!! Without a doubt, all the months of preparations was well worth it.
