For many people summer may not be a special time of year. It is simply like any other season or part of the year. Perhaps family or friends may visit during this time which makes it enjoyable. I have many friends that live out of town and return home during the summer. They text or e-mail leaving word that they are on their way home. Upon arrival, it is club and party time. The It is also a good time to go on vacation. Why? In my opinion, a nice vacation can be taken any time of year. Traveling during the summertime sometimes can be extremely hot and uncomfortable. I believe that summer has been commercialized throughout the past years. Students from across the country are saying goodbye to summer and gearing up for a new semester. Classrooms are flooded with eager students wanting to return to colleges and universities. Those who do have a summer break, should take advantage and make the best of it.

Summer is gone. So now what? Football season is at hand. A different kind of entertainment is needed and desired. Thank you sun for the lovely tan you've given to many, but it's time to place you second. I know that for many, the club scene will still be on the agenda far after summer has past us. A garden growth may entertain someone's thought or maybe not. What about throwing an after summer party? That sounds like a lot of fun. Beware hurricane season as it takes us well in to the month of November.

What now? What is next? It is time to plan. Got any ideas?


	BACK Summer Is Gone By: ShAnTii The time of year when hawaiian shirts, shorts and lots of bright colors are gone for now. The beach is the first thought that crosses ones mind when they think of summertime. The thought of going to a swimming pool may be substituted for a night out at the movies or a leisure day at the mall. For many people summer may not be a special time of year.
