Hello Readers,

One day, a dear friend of mind made a comment. He stated through a phone conversation that he was at Speak Your Mind not wanting to reveal where he was at the time and from then, the seed was planted. That was how Speak Your Mind realistically and originally came to be.

To me, Speak Your Mind automatically means: pictures, articles and a fun web page. Even though, Speak Your Mind was generated through a handful of gay friends it grew and grew into a group that accepted straight and bi or bi-curious friends. Speak Your Mind for me used to be going over to a certain house. For example: "There shall be a get-to-gether at Speak Your Mind."

Throughout these past years, Speak Your Mind has gone mainstream because It was converted onto a web page. Then came the pictures that were taken thru a simple cell phone and articles written out of this group of friends that put Speak Your Mind out there and the links went on and on and on into different chat rooms, home pages etc. Speak Your Mind had arrived in a 2.0 version to people that were not even Speak Your Mind Members.

One has to admit that the Speak Your Mind site sky rocketed because of the Valentino's link we linked for them onto us. To many, Speak Your Mind is Valentino's. To others, Speak Your Mind means a selected group of friends. To me, it is simply a place online to go for entertainment. To read. To see. To enjoy. Speak Your Mind a group of friends. Hmm? Who gets to choose what friends? Perhaps a year or two ago, I would've felt different.

This site would not be in existence without the diligent and wonderful work of our Webmaster who always prefers not to be mentioned and lay low behind the scenes. I would like to thank everyone that have contributed in any way, in helping Speak Your Mind get out there to the public. I won't mention names, because I would not want to leave someone out. Thanks for your promotion and for your time in visiting over and over again. Thanks to all our old and new friends. Friendships and relationships that have come to be because of SYM. Thank You! Thank You! We are almost at 16,000 hits as of Monday, August 14th. That is truly phenomenal.
