I logged on to the Speak Your Mind Site on Friday, September 1st to see what was new. I was curious to see what had been posted and if any new pictures were added to the site and to see what's going on the message board. To My surprise, our dear voyager (webmaster) had been working up a storm in updating the site 'bigtime' that it even gave my head a spin. I was in awe to read that several and A LOT of the pics will be deleted - to view them one last time. Wow! I guess it is a cycle as anything else in life. It hit me hard because I have been logging on for years, month after month, week after week and day after day and reminisce through them. About 98% of the old pictures prior to July of 2006 have been taken by sweet ol' ShAnTii. Every time people were asked to smile & say 'cheese' and getting groups together, - those memories will soon be gone. The life of an ammature photographer. ha ha At least the pictures were showcased for several months and for some, a couple of years. I suppose we have to move on and take more pictures. New pics. Fresh pics. Crispy ones! Do not get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I am just saddened to see them go. On a positive note, at least all of our visitors were able to view the pictures. God knows the pictures have been viewed by thousands of visitors. Our hitometer is proof of that. Thanks to the Valentino's page, our site has been showcased throughout the valley - and then some. More pictures are still yet to come and watch out for the camera, because you might be next.
