Noah's Arc - A Rainbow of A Show

What is the first thought that comes to mind when someone mentions Noahs' Arc? A world inundated with water, a huge arc built by Noah and two animals of the opposite sex of each species. Logo Mtv's new sister Gay & Lesbian Channel brings to us a different type of arc. Noah's Arc is aired every Wednesday from 9:00 - 9:30 p.m. On Wednesday, October 19th, Logo kicked off a new series gay premeire television show with a one hour special. Move over Fab 5, Queer Eye for A Straight Guy. What is the name to the popular and monumental television show which set all boundaries, experimented in sexual, spiritual, political and personal life experiences, failures and endeavors and opened the doors for future gay shows? If you said, "Queer As Folk," you are absolutely correct! Even though Brian, Justin, Michael, Ben, Emmitt and Ted are truly missed in the gay tube, Noah, Alex, Ricky and Chance, three gay black american men have arrived in style and we will love them just the same! Noah, being in my opinion, stylish & sassy as dear Emmitt, is the leader of the gay arc taking gay television by storm. Barely two weeks into its 1st season, it has already touched on sensitive issues such as employment struggle, lovers quarrel, insensitivity, miscommunication, deceit and introducing a straight and curious man into a relationship with a gay man, and a straight, bi, gay threesome 'almost' sexual intercourse experience. I am sure this series will definitely go a long way and it will become a part of our lives and our hearts. The music is different than QAF. It is more Hip Hop, R&B and Soul oriented rather than the usual, Pop, Electronica and Techo beats & mixes heard at Babylon down Liberty Avenue. I am sure we will love the music from the Club in Noahs' Arc just as much and it will want to make us want to get up and get into the groove of it as well. For now, let us enjoy the ride in Noah's little arc and see to where it takes us too and how it becomes part of our lives. I know it has already made an impact on mine.
