Madonna - Ain't No Slowing Down

Right when the critics begin to speculate that the ever so infamous "Material Girl" has faded away, she seems to resurface not only with a new look, but with new hard-core and fresh material. It has been a sexual, emotional and spiritual journey. Many say she is now in a politcal phase. Singing John Lennons' Imagine in her 2004 Re-Invention Tour, encouraging and demanding for her dancers to register to vote, war scenes and third world children in the background while she sings to Die Another Day, a staged President Bush kissing Saddam Husein and singing to Lament from the Evita Soundtrack as she was elevated over stage on an electric chair as if she was going to be electrocuted, is definitely political to me. I think she is in dire need to make a difference in this world. She has so much stress and frustrations as most Americans and people from around the world have bottled up inside. I am glad that she had the courage to showcase and express her feelings to millions of people around the world in the World Re-knowned Tour last year and graced us with a new documentary, "I'm Going To Tell You A Secret." I do have to admit that I had mixed feelings in some parts as I've always had where her work is concerened. She may not be running for Ms. Universe, but she definitlely endures and quests for World Peace! I saw the documentary on Mtv and in my opinion, one word describes the two hour length documentary, POWERFUL! Her five year old son Rocco, nine year old daughter, Lola and as she calls her husband, "my old man," Guy add the filling to the pie and make it sweet and fun! Ofcourse it is always nice and interesting to see Madge's dad and to listen to what he has to say about his Monumental Icon Daughter - M A D O N N A. Madonna isn't right or wrong, it is simply her being opinionated on her outlook toward humanity. I encourage all Madonna and Non-Madonna fans to view it for themselves. I believe the documentary will shown again on Mtv, Vh1 and Logo. Check your local listings for show time and dates.

In the midst of all her seriousness, she is whipping up a stir in the music and club world with her current CD "Confessions On A Dance Floor." The 1st release "Hung Up," has already cracked in to different charts around the world and most definitely will soon be another groundbreaking hit for the Diva of all Divas. The CD is a nonstop dance CD with no ballads which she has stated in several interviews that she wanted to make a record which was fun, make people want to get up and dance and not forward to the next song or skip tracks. I have been a Madonna fan since the early 80's but really didn't get in to the Madonna Fever 100% till the Blonde Ambition period in 1990. Since then, I have been mesmerized by her and have followed her career religiously. She has always taken her career serious and continues to be different, outspoken and a risk taker. She has pushed many, many buttons and because of that she has been mocked, belittled and hated but on the same hand she has also been loved, appreciated and accepted. So what are you going to do now? Check out the new CD when it comes out November 18th. You can hear clips of it online.
