 BACK  Even In Las Vegas - M A D O N N A is Bigger Than Lights...!
By ShAnTii  My lifetime wish, dream - fantasy has come to true on Saturday, May 27th. I was able to finally check out The Pop Reigning Queen and Music ICON - M A D O N N A. Since she released her new album/cd in November 2005, I was mesmerized with every track of "Confessions On A Dance Floor" and indeed I could envision a most definite concert "to be" in the making - and boy was I right. Just as I go crazy dancing to "Hung Up" & "Sorry" on stage at the club, I went beyond outrageous at the concert. I had good seats, not the best, but by far excellent rather than being way in the back of the green seat arena. I was content. I had an excellent side caddy-corner view of the stage and three catwalks from the upper balcony. I will never forget Madonna's greeting to us , her die-hard fans at the MGM Gardens Arena. "Welcome ladies and gentlemen, winners or losers, put out your cigarettes, because for the next two hours, I WILL BE THE ONLY ONE ON FIRE!" That's how Madonna addressed her awesome Vegas crowd. The show was amazing and with climax moments almost in every song! She had 15 dancers, four musicians, three backup singers(Donna DeLory) was the only one back, a half-dozen wardrobe changes and a multi-leveled set that featured several LED screens, a pair of dancing platforms flanking the stage and a giant mirrored disco ball, Madonna was uniquely at home on the Vegas stage. As always, it was a bit risque, religious, symbolic, sexual, energetic & enticing and an invitation to a ride back in the 70's a La Travolta Style. Here is the set list for the concert: Future Lovers, I Feel Love, Get Together, Like A Virgin, Jump, Live to Tell, Forbidden Love, Issac, Sorry, Like It or Not, I Love New York, Ray of Light, Let It Will Be, Drowned World, Paradise(Not for Me), Music(Inferno), Erotica, La Isla Bonita, Lucky Star and Hung Up. It was truly impressive and beyond Girlie, Reinvented, Virgin-like and extraordinary Ambition beyond - and then some! I waited a good pair of decades to see the Diva of all Divas, and the 2 hours went by so fast, it left my head in a spin. I have some blank moments - sigh! Would I invest in her again? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!!! I thank my Lucky Star that I have been able to Get Together with all of you and Live To Tell about the marvelous concert. I hope to continue to Jump and have a Holiday every time I am remembered of My Little Star - MADONNA ! This article has now come to and end. Sorry!
