It's summertime and the beach isn't the only place where you can get your fun and funk on. All work no play. No fun under the sun. Forget all that. Vals is steaming up and has been as the summer kicked on June 3rd with the Hawaiian Luau. It was a fun night as everyone enjoyed their complimentary blue hawaiians. Perfect drink selection if I say so myself. I'm sure everyone must of gotten a nice and colorful lei that night. Valentino's is now open during Wednesdays this summer. The first Wednesday went good and the club was definitely bringing in the club goers. The white party was awesome and it was wonderful to see everyone wearing white for the festive occasion on Saturday June 24th. The summer is barely getting hot as the preparations are on the way for Miss Valentino's 2006 on Wednesday, July 5th. The year has gone by so fast and it seems as if it was only yesterday the pageant was held. Divina Garza will be saying good-bye to her reign as Ms. Valentino's 2005 and giving it up to the new Queen. I cannot wait to see whom it will be. On July 15th, Miss Gay USofA 2006, Alissa Edwards will be our guest performer. We are excited to have Ms. Edwards in the house and we will do our best to make her feel at home. Right when you ask how can it get any better or hotter, we bring summer to a close with a bang! Straight from Las Vegas, Nevada, one of its magnificent shining stars will be coming to be our invited MC for the night. Lawanda Jackson will be here Saturday, August, 19th dazzling everyone with a fantastic show and outrageous humor as always, Las Vegas Style. As always there is no heat talk complete without mentioning the Apollo Male Dancers. Be sure to catch the Apollo guys strut their stuff and stuff on and off stage. Local Divas will also be performing as always and keeping the stage hot and ready for the next performer. It cannot get hotter than that Rio Grande Valley. Can you feel the heat?
