Day in and day out we are leant a part of life. It is our duty to try to do the best of it. Life is simply borrowed. There is so much to do and not enough time to do it in. Places to see. People to meet. Dreams to come alive. If only life did not have a time, only a beginning and no end. Our endeavors and fantasies may very well then become a reality. Work seems never ending and frustrations seem to stretch even more. Living hand to mouth month by month can be tiresome. Why can't I have it easy? Why can't I win that lotto ticket? Did I even buy one? This volatile world is only getting worse. An oblivion. Why not an oblivion of love. Peace. True, I may be a charismatic dreamer but who isn't? Life is too short to be bitter. I want a perfect world. Who can I speak too? Who can I seek it from? I won't even go there and sound childish or uneducated. I'll stop! If only we could live a life of beautiful fragrance and beyond the colors of the rainbow. Give a little razzle dazzle to life. We need strength to overcome the darkness. We will prevail one day, I hope. If only guns, hatred, violence, famine, poverty and greed be extinct how better this world would be. If I could only close my eyes and take a ride to the other side. The side that was once known and perhaps will be known again. Many say poor person that has died. Correction! Poor us, who are left behind. Oh well, as I said, life is just lent. We must make the most of it. It is placed in our hands. Don't hurt me. Don't hurt yourself. Don't hurt one another. Do I sound naive, perhaps I do, perhaps I am - but it's ok. If only I could ESCAPE!
