Happy Halloween Everyone. Well, November is here tomorrow and you know what that means! Christmas is just around the corner. It will be here in no time. As October ends today everyone be careful on the streets watch for the kids trick or treating. And be careful with the Halloween parties. Speak Your Mind been busy lately and it seems now there there is so much to do in Brownsville with and increase in nightlife. With the opening of Hurricanes, Legends, Envy and supposedly we will be getting a graham’s soon. There are just too many places to check out now. Some will fall but I think with the growth of Brownsville we will end up with some good places to hang out. Brownsville is growing from all sides. We are gaining another Supper Wal-Mart to open in January on the corner of FM 802 and South Padre Hwy (14th St). This area is growing fast and it is looking good. Rivera High school students will benefit greatly with new restaurants like Biggos 3, Chopstix by Lotus, El Chuleton Ok, and soon a Carl’s Jr. burger joint. Already McDonald’s and Whataburger are busy, not to mention CC Wings right across the Supper Wal-Mart. In the plaza where El Chuleton is there is now a Curves for women 2, Comet cleaners, The Liquor Depot, The Boot Jack 2, Genaro’s pizza. Brownsville is looking good. We are finally moving again. Lets hope the city will allow some good entertainment places for our Citizens to party. The biggest city should have everything so it’s time to move on. Speak Your Mind has a great DJ that spins awesome techno music (which is missing at most clubs) If you are having a small party you are welcome to use him at a SYM special price. He’s great with all the raves we’ve had at Boca Chica Beach, Speak Your Mind and house parties. Many of you know Joey. He’s cool. Very friendly and gets along with everyone. We will be back in November with more articles and pictures. We just give everyone a break every two months or so to recuperate from all the partying. It’s hard to keep up with what’s going on and write an article when you are partying and drinking every night. I ask YOU to submit some pictures or articles to us so we can post them here. We want to make this a fun site for everyone to see. Write anything that interests you. Speak Your Mind and we’ll post it here. REMEMBER TO USE YOUR RIGHT AND VOTE THIS TUESDAY.
