Welcome to another ordinary day in the town of Freeville. Our main characters, Jake, Paul and Professor Luke Robins are steaming things - and then some. Thank you for your interest and for returning to read the following part that is posted every Saturday. Created and Written by ShAnTii Part I - The Carnival
Setting: Present Day  The smell of roasted corn, sweet cotton candy, grilled onions for the delicious foot longs was making Jake quite hungry as he walked at the most anticipated annual event of the year in the little town of Freeville. The carnival had arrived. It was a pleasant cool fall evening during the month of October. The snow had begun to melt from the previous days and the evening sky was a beautiful orange, purple, and with a hint of gold.
Ever since his childhood, Jake enjoyed going to the carnival and riding the carnival rides, playing games and enjoy his time with his friends as they ate as if there were no tomorrow. Unfortunately, the carnival would only last for five nights in Freeville. Jake had saved up a good amount of money to spend during these five festive days. Jake was suppose to meet his best friend Paul at around 8 o'clock that evening by The Dragon Coaster. Jake bumped into some of his old high school friends as he walked towards the ticket booth. While Jake was waiting for Paul to arrive, he purchased tickets for the carnival rides. "Boo," shouted someone from Jake's behind. Stunned, Jake turned around to realize it was Paul. The two twenty-two year old friends hugged and high fived each other as they began to walk around the carnival. Jake wanted to ride the Dragon Coaster and Paul wanted to ride the Twister. They flipped a coin and Paul won, so off to the Twister it was. Jake and Paul have been friends since junior high school. Paul is an out of the closet young gay guy. Actually, Paul came out to Jake at the age of fourteen during one of their overnight camp outs when they were boy scouts. Jake still accepted his friendship and did not mind at all that his best friend was gay. Paul has dirty blonde hair with light brown eyes and stands five foot with 9 inches tall and is slim and trim. Jake enjoys working out and is in shape more than Paul. He has dark black hair, ruby red lips, and is a bit taller than Paul. Jake was nominated Most Handsome during his senior year and Paul was nominated Most Likely To Succeed. Paul always jokes around with Jake and is flirtatious when they are alone. Jake is straight but has always been curious what it would be like to be intimate with another guy. Actually, he wood look surreptitiously at the boys as they showered at the school gym when he was in high school. Though as curious as he would get, up to this day, Jake never let his curiosity become a reality. Jake and Paul both attend CCF (Community College at Freeville) and are both medical students. Both of them are close to getting their certification. Professor Luke Robins is Jake's favorite instructor for this semester. The professor is six feet tall. He has short black spiked hair, thick eye brows and hazel colored eyes. Almost all women at the college admire Mr. Robins as the hottest man on campus. He is the dream of all gay guys as well. Making sure he would earn an "A" in the class, Jake always sits at the front of the class, always completes his assignments and is never absent from this class. As straight as Jake says he is, he feels an attraction towardsProfessor Luke Robins. Many times Mr. Robins and Jake have had eye contact. Mr. Robins has the cutest smile and his left eyebrow elevates when he is curious or when a question is asked. After several hours of carnival rides, playinggames and eating galore, Jack and Paul are still having the best time and laughing a lot as they continue to walk around the carnival. Paul had won a giant Kermit The Frog stuffed animal and a huge lady bug. Jake had won 2 Green Day Posters and a big brown teddy bear. They both are excited with their prizes. "Hi Jake! Wow, it is awesome to see you here sweety!" Jake was surprised to see his ex-girlfriend Tricia at the carnival. They had dated for 2 years and decided to go their own ways after graduating from high school. Paul and Tricia hugged and she gave him a pat on the back. Tricia suggested for them to get something to munch on. The three of themsat down on a bench as they ate candy apples and drank their sodas. Quietly and to themselves, the three of them were making fun at people as they passed by. As always, Paul is eyeing all the good looking guys that would pass in front of him. Jake mentioned that it was time to get going and head for home. As Jake stood up and was about to turn around, his eyes are covered by someone. Tricia and Paul looked on with a surprise. The hands were pressed hard on his eyes. Jake started to ask, "is it Mark, is it Stan, hmm is it Al?" "No!" was all he heard. He wanted to recognize the voice. He was a bit nervous and curious and thought for a moment who it could be. Jake's thoughts were going in circles trying to figure out who this person was. Many of his friends names would come up but were too many to mention. Finally, Jake turns around. With a gazed look in his eyes, he becomes suddenly numb and without words, not because he bumped into this person at the carnival but because his eyes were covered by that person . "Oh my. Ugh, How are you?" asked Jake. "I never thought I'd bump in to you here of all places." Jake's eyes were wide open and he had a million dollar smile on his face. Part II- Surprise At Leo's Bistro
 "Have you tried any of the rides Jake? "Yeah. Paul and I have?been getting on most of them. As a matter of fact, Paul, Tricia and I are pooped and ready to call it the night. What about you, Professor Robins? Do you like the rides?" asked Jake. "No. I'm not really one into rides but I do enjoy the games and the food. And by the way Jake, you can call me Luke." Professor Robins is the last person in the world Jake would've thought was the one that covered his eyes by the Ferris Wheel. "I am also heading for home. I can see you and your friends have won several prizes," said Professor Robins. Jake felt jittery and was extremely happy to see his favorite professor. His secret crush. If only Tricia knew that her ex-boyfriend gets all tingled up for the good ol' professor. Paul picked up on the vibes and noticed how interested Jake is in talking to Mr. Robins. I think it is finally evident that Jake likes the professor. With a smirk on his face Paul said, "well, it's getting late and I think we should skip on out of here and head out." Jake, Paul and Tricia said their goodbyes to Mr. Robins and began to walk towards the exit. What a fun Wednesday night it turned out to be for all of them, especially for Jake. As they walk toward the car, Jake turns around and stares at the Ferris Wheel. He smiles. He remembers Luke. He turns around and places his hands in his pockets and thinks to himself, "What a night!" It is Saturday morning and the sun is beaming onto Jake's chest thru the window. "Wake up Jake!" Get your butt out of bed and lets get going. You said that we were going to go and check out the motorcycles," said Jeff, Jake's twin brother. "Aw Jeff, what's wrong with you? It is barely 8 a.m. and it is too early to get up on a Saturday morning." Jake and Jeff are identical twin brothers. The only way their mother could differentiate them when they were small was because of their birth mark. Jake has it on his upper left hip and Jeff has it behind his right upper thigh. Jake turned over and the sheets fell off his body exposing his bubbled buttocks. Jake is one who enjoys sleeping in the nude. Jeff slapped Jake's butt and again, repeated for him to get out of bed. As Jeff turned around and headed out to the kitchen, Jake sat on the bed while stretching and yawning and then stood up and walked his tall and lean body to the chair where he had left his boxers the night before. He quickly went downstairs and was hoping to find something quick to eat before getting dressed and heading out to town before 9 a.m. The Raimi brothers live together in a contemporary, cozy, two-story and two bedroom condo in mid-town Freeville close to CCF.
It is now 2:30 p.m.. After several hours of visiting motorcycle show rooms, Jake and Jeff decided to have something to eat. Jeff did not find a motorcycle to his liking. He is debating between a red Suzuki or a black Kawasaki. Jake always gets upset because Jeff can never make up his mind on what he wants. Jeff has been searching for a motorcycle for several months and has saved up for a good down payment. The two twin brothers went to the Bridge Point Mall and ate at the food court. Jake is a big fan of Italian food and Jeff prefers Chinese. They did some clothes shopping and bought two games for their Play Station 3. Jake and Jeff are quite a spectacle as they walk together. They are perfect men. Tall. Handsome. They are always well dressed and are always sporting a smile. They know that people always stare at them and they enjoy it. Fortunately, they are humble guys and are not stuck up at all. Before leaving the mall, Jeff went to get his work schedule for the week. He works at Computer World and is up for an upcoming assistant manager's promotion. While Jeff went to get his schedule, Jake goes to the clothing store next door. Jake walks around and browses at different shirts and caps. He comes across the underwear section and reaches out for a package of bikini briefs. He is staring at it. Concentrating on the package, one would assume that he is checking out the price or brief's size. He is picturing the bikini briefs on Professor Robins. He cannot help but to think about Mr. Robins being his first sexual encounter with a male. He bites his lip slightly. Many erotic thoughts go thru his mind when all of a sudden he's asked, "Ok dude, are you going to buy them or not? You look like you really want them. I am not sure if they are really your size." Jake turned around, smiled and said, "Nagh. They're not my color." Jeff and Jake both laughed and walked out the door. Jake wanted to go to the hair salon and add some gold streaks onto his hair. So, to the hair salon it was.
Later that day back at the condo, Jeff is cleaning up a storm because he is going to have a get together for some of his co-workers that night. Jeff is more of a social kind of person. Jake is more laid back and a person who prefers smaller crowds and or company. Jake has an awesome bedroom with wooden floors. His bedroom also has a mini fireplace. There is a different colored lava lamp in each corner of the bedroom and a black light over his bed's headboard. Jake put up the two Green Day posters he had won at the carnival three nights before. He placed them between the Carmen Elektra and INX's posters. He dusted a little and then decided to shower. On the way home Paul called Jake to invite him to dinner. Paul had also invited his cousin Jeremy who was a gym instructor. Oh, by the way, he was also gay. Jeremy always mentions that he is a daring person and that he has balls of steel. Jake said that he would accept the invitation if they agreed to go to the new Italian restaurant, Leo's Bistro that opened on Cherry Dale Blvd. Paul agrees. Jake irons the clothes he is going to wear. Jake takes a long hot shower while he listens to his favorite Radio Station, 92 FM KBTC. He lathers himself completely with different fragrant body washes and shampoos his hair. He always does the mohawk thing in the shower with the shampoo's lather. He is one to take a good 20 minute, comfortable and an enjoyable shower. The water felt good as it came down his tanned and smooth body. As most guys, Jake oftentimes enjoys a little intimate moment with himself in the shower.
A quarter after 8:00 p.m. Paul and Jeremy go for Jake at his condo in Paul's new Jeep Liberty. It is a beautiful metallic blue. Paul is commenting to the boys that he is tired. He has painted his apartment and it took almost the entire day. The fumes got to him and he needed to get out of the apartment soon. This dinner was perfect planning and they all laughed. On the way to the restaurant they are listening to DJ Paul Van Dyk club remixes that Jeremy downloaded from the Internet. All three of them are well dressed and look sharp. Upon arrival, Leo's Bistro is packed and there is a one hour waiting list. Luckily, Paul had called to make reservations. The bistro is an exquisite restaurant with imported furniture, paintings and tableware, etc... from Italy. It is the talk of the town. Freeville?has finally received another new and fancy restaurant. Being that it is an Italian restaurant, made it extra special for Jake, and he had been waiting with anticipation for many weeks for the grand opening. The foyer and the place is stunning. Tall white pilars make the restaurant look classy. The paintings adorn the walls majestically and the candlelight illuminates the place beautifully. Overall, Leo's Bistro is breathtaking. Due to the grand opening, the owner of Leo's Bistro, Leo himself, escorts everyone to their table where a chilled bottle of wine is waiting for their customers. Paul leads the way as Jeremy and Jake follow. The aroma is delicious and their appetite is driving them crazy. All of a sudden as Jake is walking to the table, his heart starts pumping harder and he gets a bit nervous due to what he sees coming. It is Professor Luke Robins. "Hi Jake. Frankly, I'm not surprised to see you here. I recall in one of our past conversations you stated to me know how much you love Italian food," said the 29 year old professor. "Yes. I do love Italian food. You remembered. This place is truly phenomenal. I love it," said Jake. "I see that you came with your friend Paul," stated the professor. Jake responded, "Yeah. Paul drove us here tonight. He invited his cousin Jeremy to have dinner with us. We just got here. And you Luke? Ugh, Did you come alone?" asked Jake. Jake notices someone coming from behind Professor Robins. "Allow me to introduce the two of you, Jake, this is my wife Miranda Robins."  ...........to be continued
Next time on An Ordinary Day - Part III - The Sleep Over An Ordinary Day  "Oh, very nice to meet you Mrs. Robins." said Jake. Mrs. Robins replies, "The pleasure is mine. No need to call me Mrs. Robins. You may call me Miranda. Luke has told me very good things about you. And I do have to mention that the food is very delicious here. You are going to love it. I suggest you try the stuffed crab with Alfredo fettuccini." Without hesitation and as if he was in a hurry, Jake said, "I'll take that into consideration when ordering my dinner. Well, I must go now. My friends are waiting and again, Miranda, nice to meet you and I will see you in class on Monday Mr. Robins, I mean Luke." "Sure thing Jake. Enjoy and see you soon. Oh, and Jake, don't forget your assignments." stated the professor. Jake nods and smiles. Jake walks toward his table with his head down and in total awe. Jake never assumed that the professor was married. Several thoughts were circling in Jake's mind at this time. He never noticed a wedding ban on the professor's finger and he never recalled the professor speak of a wife or a girlfriend. But then again, the professor never speaks about his personal life in general. At the table Paul and Jeremy are looking at the menu as Jake sits down. Jake asks if there is anything good on the menu as he looks towards the door. Mr. and Mrs. Robins are gone and out of site. Paul and Jeremy ordered the Triple Tour of Italy and Jake ordered the stuffed crab with Alfredo fettuccini as Miranda had suggested. As they were all enjoying their delicious dinner, Jake's cell rings. It is Jeff. He wanted for his brother to buy two desserts and take them home for the party. In the midst of all the cleaning and other food preparations, Jeff had forgotten about the dessert. Jake ordered a strawberry french vanilla cheesecake and a chocolate caramel mousse cake. Paul, Jeremy and Jake enjoyed their dinner and had at least 4 cups of wine each. What a fun night at the grand opening at Leo's Bistro. Later that night Jake is in his bedroom finishing up his class assignment. He can still hear Jeff's friends having a good time downstairs at the party. Since it was a bit after midnight, Jeff has lowered the volume so it is not disturbing to the neighbors and to Jake. Jake only has a towel wrapped around him. There is no need for him to put clothes on, since he sleeps in the nude. "Oh my! Woohoo! What a shower. Man oh man, I love the pressure your shower has. I hope you don't mind, but I used some of your shampoo and shower gels." said Paul as he walked around in his white bikini briefs. "No problem buddy. That's what friends are for." stated Jake. Paul comes from behind and hugs Jake at his desk and kisses him on the cheek and says, "aw, you're so sweet. He kisses him again and again playfully and Jake laughs and says, "Alright, alright, calm down." They both laugh. Paul told Jake, "thanks for letting me sleep here tonight. I don't think I could've slept at my apartment. Hopefully by tomorrow the fumes won't be as strong. It's been a long time since you and I have shared a bed." "It's ok. Anytime Paul. For you, anything." says Jake. "Anything?" asks Paul. They both looked at each other and Jake said, "well, almost anything." Jake turns the computer off, locks the bedroom door and goes to bed. Downstairs Jeff says goodnight to all of his friends except for one. He cleans a little. He manages to persuade Lily to stay over for the night. Jeff likes her. They have gone out five times prior to this party. She is real pretty and works with Jeff at Computer World. She has been working there for about half a year. It is no secret that Lily also likes Jeff. Lily was commenting how beautiful the condo is. She loves how Jeff and Jake has it decorated. Even though it has a lot of live in area and a contemporary look, she loves the way it looks from the outside. "Your condo from the outside has an Urban English look Jeff. I love it." says Lily. She was in love with the bay window and the black lighted street lamp in front of it. "Thank you Ms. Lily. I'm glad you approve. So, do you like me as much as you like my place? I sure hope so because I do not want to get jealous." says Jeff. After the last person left from the party, Jeff locked the door. Both of them are sitting on the sofa looking towards the fire place. Jeff leans over and gives Lily a soft kiss on her lips and starts to remove his shirt and his pants as Lily sits on the sofa with a big smile. She also starts to remove her blouse. Jeff reaches for his pants and gets his wallet. He pulls out a condom, tears the packet, slips it on. Needless to say, they had a warm and a wonderful time by the fire place.  "What are you thinking about? You can't fall asleep? Are you thinking of him?" asks Paul. Jake turns his head to Paul as they both lay in bed and asks, "who's him?" With out hesitating Paul says, "Professor Luke Robins. Oh come on Jake. You can tell me. If you can't tell me, then who can you tell? I notice the look in your eyes when you see him. Ironically, there's something about him as well. It's like he really thinks you're kool, but I don't know. There's something there. You and I have been friends since we were kids. You can trust me." says Paul. "Paul, do you think I'm gay? I mean I've never had sex with another guy, but I oftentimes think about it. Ever since I broke up with Tricia, I've been thinking about it more and more. Is it normal?" asks Jake. "Yes it's normal." It's your mind just wanting to know. Curiosity." responded Paul. "That's how I started and look at me now." says Paul. They both laughed. Paul turns around and brushes his fingers thru Jake's hair. "What is it exactly that you think about?" asks Paul. "Everything! Just about everything there is to think about." replies Jake. "Is there something you would like to ask? You look a bit tense. Here, let me help you relax. Close your eyes." says Paul. Paul runs his fingers over Jake's chest. Jake smiles and says, "it tickles." They both laugh. He continues to tickle his chest and goes up and around his shoulders. "Do you like this Jake?" asks Paul. "Yeah, it feels good. It reminds of me of what Tricia used to do to me." says Jake. "Shut Up!" replies Paul. "Girls are not allowed right now. They are not allowed in conversation and in thought." says Paul with a chuckle. They both laughed again. Jake opens his eyes and looks straight into Paul's eyes. There is silence. With a nervous voice, Jake tells Paul, "take off your underwear. I want for you to lie on my stomach." "Ok." replies Paul. Paul with a full erection, places himself on top of Jake and they are face to face. Jake is quiet. He places his arms on Paul's back. He caresses his back and goes down to the buttocks. "Jake, I will only do what you want me too. I do not want to cross the borderline." says Paul. Jake closes his eyes and says, "Kiss me Paul. Kiss me." After many years of Paul wanting to kiss his best friend, it finally happened. They both locked lips and kissed for a good four minutes or so. Even though Jake was enjoying his kiss with Paul, he couldn't stop thinking of kissing the professor. "How was that?" asked Paul. "Actually, not bad. Not bad at all. You're a pro at it hugh?" replied Jake. Paul laughs and says, "That's just the tip of the iceberg my friend." As Paul leans over to give Jake a little peck on the lips Jake places his hands on Paul's head. Paul kisses Jake and continues onto his stomach admiring his six pack, kissing the belly button and continuing down to the thighs. Jake moans, "Oh Paul." "Knock! Knock! Knock!" is heard at the door loudly. "Jake! Jake! Wake up! Unlock the door." exclaims Jeff. Quickly, Paul rolls over and covers himself with the blanket and Jake puts on his boxers and walks towards the door. "What's all the shout out for?" asks Jake. "Mom just called that dad has been involved in a car accident on his way home from work." "What? Oh my God, is he ok?' asks Jake. "Hurry and get dressed. We'll ride together to the hospital. Hurry!" shouts Jeff as he runs towards his bedroom. Lily had been gone about ten minutes when Jeff received the phone call. Jeff, Jake and Paul all ride to the hospital and are quiet. No radio. No conversation. Jeff and Jake cannot help but to think the worse. "Everything will be ok. Just wait and see." says Paul. Jeff is driving with tears in his eyes and Jake is looking out the window. Arriving at the hospital, they walk to the Emergency Room and their mom is there waiting. "Oh boys! she tells her sons she cries as her hands cover her face. "Mom tell us. Tell us. How's dad?" they asked. "Code Blue. Code blue Room D. Code Blue Room D." is heard through the waiting area's intercom system. With a stunned and scared look on their faces, they all stare at each other.

An Ordinary Day
 Jake and Jeff are pacing back and forth as their mom sits quietly in the Emergency Room at the hospital. She is in deep thought and in prayer. The room is filled to capacity with people waiting frustrated. "Think positive. Think positive." says Paul to the two worried brothers. Jake gets his cell and calls their older sister Jasmine who lives in Pittsburgh. "Jasmine?" asks Jake. "Yeah, what's up Jake? It's 3:45 in the morning. Is everything ok?" asks Jasmine. "It's dad. He has been involved in a car accident!" exclaims Jake. "Oh no!" says his sister in a loud and concerned voice. "His car was struck by a truck on his way home from work tonight. Mom, Jeff, Paul and I are here waiting for the doctor to come out and tell us how he's doing." says Jake. "Jake, please tell me he's going to be ok. I just spoke to him early this morning. I was telling him that I was going home for Thanksgiving. He was so happy when I told him." Cries Jasmine. "I will call you as soon as we find out something." says Jake to his sister. "How's mom?" asks Jasmine. "She's holding up ok so far. She's praying." responded Jake. "Give her my love." she responded. "Goodbye Jasmine. I will call you as soon as we receive more information from the doctor." says Jake. "Goodbye!" they both said and hung up. After waiting for about 2 hours the Emergency Room nurse comes over and tells Jeff that the doctor will be out shortly to discuss the situation with them. Fifteen minutes later the doctor comes out of the ER. "Mrs. Raimin?" Everyone stands up! "Yes! Yes, doctor. How is my husband?" asks Mrs. Raimin with tears in her eyes. "It gives me comfort that I am the bearer of good news this time around. Your husband will be just fine. He is bruised up but the X-rays came out good. There is no internal bleeding and he is conscious. With that said, I will keep him overnight for further observation and hopefully if all goes well, he will be ready to go home in the morning or mid afternoon. You may enter and see him now. He was asking for all of you." said the doctor. Mrs. Raimin hugs the doctor and thanks him for his help and the good news. She turns around and as she walks towards her husband's room, she looks up to the ceiling and says, "Thank you! Thank you!" Jake and his mother walk into the room to visit his father. Jeff stayed behind to call his sister and give her the good news. A week has passed and Mr. Raimin is doing a lot better and should be returning to work soon. Jasmine has been calling on a daily basis to check up on her dad. It is 10:00 a.m. and it is an ugly, wet and stormy Friday morning in the town of Freeville. The sky is gray and it has been raining on and off for about a week. Everyone is hoping for the weather to get better soon. The rain is falling hard as the sun tries to peek through. It is raining cats and dogs. Several of the automobile alarms are being set off by the loud thunder at the college parking lot. The lightening fills the sky with a beautiful light show. Jake is at the Student Center finishing up some assignments in his lap top before class. Paul joins Jake at the table. Later they are joined by two other classmates, Pat and Diana. All of them are getting ready to turn in their assignment to Mr. Robins. Jake is President of the campus social club. They have a strong group of 45 students. "Hey have any of you guys seen the paintings by Professor Robins? They are in display at the foyer at the Art Coliseum?" asked Pat. Jake was the first to answer. "Yeah, I've seen his paintings. He is a very talented artist. As a matter of fact, my favorite painting of his is one of a beautiful waterfall in some island." Paul, Pat, Diana and Jake continue to work on their assignments and then head to class. After a long day of classes, everyone is glad to head for home. Paul and Jake walk towards the parking lot. Paul asks excitingly, "Hey Jake, I was thinking about going to the beach and hang out this week-end?" "Sure! Sounds like a plan. All we need is to hope for the rain to go away." replied Jake. Paul gets into his Jeep Liberty and Jake into his GT Mustang and drive home. It is Friday night and Jake is in his bedroom lying on his bed listening to the pouring rain as he watches television. He is watching Halloween. Plans are not made for the night due to the inclement weather. Jake is thinking about things he would like to do during the week-end. Jake's cell phone rings and notices that it is Paul calling. "What's up little one?" answered Jake. "Do you still want to go to the beach tomorrow if it clears up? If not, perhaps we can go see a movie." said Paul. "Yeah, both ideas are good." replies Jake. "Hey, Tricia is calling on the other line, I'll call you back buddy." said Jake. They both hang up. Tricia and Jake stay late talking and talking and talking. Eventually, they both say, "good night "Give me a good morning kiss." says Paul to Allen. It is 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Allen is Paul's so called, part-time lover. They are not in a relationship but are each others boy toy. Both of them are in Paul's bedroom apartment. Finally, they are inside and a techno version of Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus is being played. The club is full. As you walk in to the club the walls dimensions and the construction of the club itself does look like the inside of an attic but in a huge version. It is like a make believe attic that has been turned in to a club like none other. The club consists of one large stage with a grand staircase at the center. Four cages which are big enough for three to four people to dance in adorn each corner of the dance floor. One large and two medium sized disco balls adorn the dance floor. The large disco ball comes down and allows for a performer to sit on the disco ball and go up half way and sing to the crowd. There is also a sitting looped ring that comes down from the ceiling when the Master or the Mistress of Ceremonies comes down at the beginning of every show. Four chandeliers come down during a show when a ballad is sung or during a special event or show. A bubble, confetti, fog and snow machine add fun to the club and turns the dance floor into a surreal place to be. The Attic is a club like none other. It is unique, chic and sleek. The boys parade around the club. Many of their friends are there from the university. They stop and say hi at different tables. Before finding a place, they buy their drinks. Finally, they find a vacant table by one of the cages. It is announced that The Attic has a special show tonight. Crystal Lewis from The Boardwalk of Atlantic City will be the featured performer. In the midst of all the people, games and sales, Jake continues to look for the professor but there is no sign of him. Many of the students are walking around wet after being placed in the dunking booth. Others were also walking around with whipped cream from pie eating contests. After a long day of countless hours and hard work, it is time to close down. Jake receives a phone call from Paul's mother. She wants him to know that Paul opened his eyes and is speaking a little. They continue to talk about almost everything they can think of. Paul walks towards Jake and gives him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. You're the best friend anyone could ever ask for. Allen is on his way to Paul's house when he decides to stop at Al's Pizzaria to have lunch with Pat and Diana. While at the Pizzaria they are talking about the big night at The Attic on Halloween. They are excited to see Elvira on that festive night. Pat is commenting on the assignment that the Professor has assigned. They are curious that Tricia has not been to class for two days. Allen brought up the fact that he has a crush on the professor and that he knows he is straight but that he is going to give him some rainbow flavor to love and enjoy. Pat and Diana look at Allen and at each other. The pizza arrives and they begin to enjoy their delicious italian lunch. "Man oh Man Paul, I want to be with Luke right this very moment. I just want to lay in bed and hold him. I want to kiss him and do everything my heart desires." says Jake. "Well baby, you got me, just be gentle." replies Paul and winks at Jake as Christina Aguilera's song, "Candy Man" is heard in the background on 92 FM KBTC. At this time Professor Luke Robins arrives at his home and to his surprise notices that the front door is ajar. He gets off his car and walks towards the front door. He walks in and calls out, "Miranda? Sweety? Miranda, are you here? He walks around and notices flipped lamps, chairs and broken glass. He goes towards their bedroom. Miranda is no place in site. He has shivers up and down his spine and can only think the worse. He sees a paper that is on the dining room's floor and reads it. Luke, My darling Luke. I have no choice. I cannot hide my feelings. I have to write it on paper for you. I see you every day and it is like I see an angel. You are a breathe of fresh air. You make my day. You are the reason why I look forward to waking up every morning. So many times I have come to you and wanted to tell you how I feel, but I can't. Halloween Midnight Masquerade Ball & Paul's Return to The Attic An Ordinary Day  Part VIII - The Halloween Midnight Masquerade Ball It is a cloudy and cool fall Halloween morning. "Good morning brother. Hey, are you going to the Masquerade Ball tonight at The Attic? You will never guess who is the featured guest tonight?" asks Jake to his twin brother. "Who?" asks Jeff. "Elvira!” responds Jake. “Get out of here! Are you freaking serious?” asks Jeff with excitement. “I’m not a big fan of gay clubs and all you know, but for Elvira i’m sure as hell going to be there! She’s so hot and those titties on her are to die for. She is not bad looking for her age.” said Jeff to brother. Jake has been a big Elvira fan. He has always admired her beauty, poise and her fun charismatic character. A fun and outrageous night is still yet to come. Jake is haveing bitter sweet thoughts about tonight because it is going to be the first time Paul returns to the club since the horrific night Paul was shot outside the club. As Jake goes upstairs to take a cold shower, the sound of thunder is heard. Jeff peaks out the window and yells out to Jake, "I think this is going to be a gloomy Halloween." It begins to rain. Allen and Paul are still in bed at Paul's house. They are talking about the festive night at The Attic. "Oh My Gosh Allen, can you believe that Elvira Mistress of the Dark - will be here in Freeville? I just can't believe it." says Paul. Allen rolls over and lays on top of Paul. "I do not want to talk about Elvira right now sexy. What I want now is you." explaims Allen to Paul. Allen kisses Paul's chest. He nibbles on his nipples. Paul closes his eyes, smiles and says, "I love it when you do that to me Paul. Allen kisses Paul's chest and twirls his tongue around his belly button. The rain is pouring harder and the thunder is getting louder. Allen reaches up and kisses Paul on his lips. They seal with a passionate kiss and uncover each other. They throw the blanket to the floor. They remove their underwear and Paul begins to travel down Allen's body. Allen places his hands on Paul's head as they have a fabulous time on this Halloween morning. It is approximately 11:30 a.m.. Trying to find something of interest on television and in deep thought, Professor Luke Robins looks out the window as he sits on a chair in the living room. He ponders on who could've been the person to write the letter and leave it at his house. "Who can it be? I have no idea and what the purpose would be? I can only imagine how Miranda must of felt when she read it." Luke thought to himself. "Dam! Can things get any more complicated than what they already are?" asks Luke to himself. He has not been able to locate Miranda. Luke wants to explain to Miranda that he has no idea who or what the the letter is about. The police have not been able to assist in trying to find Miranda. It is apparent that Miranda has left Luke because of the letter. Luke's cell rings. "Hello!" answers Luke. "Hi. I'm just calling to see if you are doing ok. and if you have heard from your wife?" asks Jake. "No. I have not been able to contact her. I have spoken to her parents and some of her friends and no one seems to know where she is. If they do know, Miranda probably told them not to tell me where she is at." says Luke. Jake asks Luke if it is ok to go over to his house. On his way to Luke's house Jake calls Tricia to her cell. The phone rings several times. She does not answer. He calls again and still, no answer. On the third time, Jake leaves a voice message for Tricia, it says, "Hey Tricia it's me Jake. I've been trying to call you for several days and I can't seem to get a hold of you. Return my call as soon as you get this message." "Elvira! I love you! Elvira! Elvira - over here. Smile for the camera." was yelled by many fans that were at the airport as she exited her airplane and walked into the airport's lobby. The word had leaked out on the time and the flight in which Elvira was going to arrive in. Cameras were flashing and Elvira had a huge smile on her face. She was nice enough to pause for a few moments, give some autographs and take pictures with her fans. Airport security was tight and Elvira fans were extremely happy. This was just a little prelude of what was yet to come at the club tonight. Jake stops by and visits with Luke. Luke receives Jake with a hug. He offers Jake something to drink. Jake mentions that a bottled water would be fine. They both sit down on the couch next to each other and Jake asks several questions in reference to Miranda's whereabouts. Luke shows the letter to Jake. After reading the letter, Jake is in awe with what he reads. "Wow!" exclaims Jake. "Who would do this to me Jake? Who would want to put Miranda and I in this predicament?" asks Luke. "I can't imagine who would do that." says Jake. Luke stands up. He opens the curtain and looks out the window and asks, "I know you would never do something like this to me Jake. Right?" Jake stands up and with a startled and serious look and responds, "How can you even dare ask me that? What kind of a person do you think I am? Don't you know me by now Luke?" With an apologetic face, Luke responds, "that's not what I meant. Just forget that I even said that." "I have to go." says Jake. Jake begins to walk towards the door and just about as he reaches for the door knob, Luke places his hand on the door and presses it for it not to open. "Wait!" says Luke as he gets Jake from his shoulders and turns him around. Luke places his hands on both of Jake's cheeks and tells him, "I'm sorry Jake. I did not intend to hurt your feelings. I'm, I'm - just so confused. I don't know what to think. My wife is gone. I love her. I don't know if I'll ever see her again. And Jake, he pauses - I want you. I love you. I want to be with you forever. That day, I was coming home to tell Miranda that I wanted to end our marriage and I walked into this. Someone, somehow set the stage for me. Perhaps, the letter is a blessing in disguise. I don't know. Who wrote it? Perhaps she wrote it herself and left it for me in order for her to leave me. Maybe she know about us and did not know how to tell me. I don't know. I just don't know what to think Jake. I just don't know." Luke covers his face with his hands and begins to cry. Luke reaches over and hugs him. Ring! Ring! Ring! "Hello?" answers Luke. It was Miranda's mother. She is wondering if he has heard from her. Soon thereafter, Jake left home to get ready for the Halloween Masquerade Ball. As Luke is headed for home, he calls Tricia to her cell again. "Dam Tricia! Where are you?" He hangs up his cell and does not leave a message. Jake and Jeff had decided to go to the Masquerade Ball as Batman & Robin. They were excited and were ready to leave to Paul's place. Jeff's date was not able to go but he did not care because he did not want to cater to anyone on this fun and awesome night. His focus with totally on Elvira. As the Raimen brothers arrive at Paul's, Jake honks and is in shock to see a majestic site. Coming down the stairs comes the one and only - the devious devil himself in a hot, red, leather body suit. Paul looked awesome and sexy in total red as Allen was dressed as Fag Dracula. He was a vampire in drag. What a combination. And off the are to the club.  As they arrive at the club, the line is long at the entrance. Everyone looks quite festive in their costumes. Isis, Queen Elizabeth, Marylin Monroe, Michael Jackson, Vampires, Super Heroes, Witches, Mummies are all in site as they walk into the club. The club is decorated beautifully and all of the disco balls within the club has orange lights reflecting on them. It is to die for. Never has The Attic looked so glam and so hot. Jake, Jeff, Paul and Allen sat at the V.I.P. table next to the center stage by the dance floor. It is a surprise for Paul. Since this was Paul's return since his gunshot, Jake wants to make sure that Paul has an unforgettable and a fun-filled night. The boys danced, and danced, and danced, and dance - and danced! There are several guys walking around as Elvira wanna-bees. They do not look quite bad at all. The four of them were enjoying their cosmos and their martinis, and the some. Finally, it was time..........! The siren begins to roar. All lights go out. The disco balls go up as the chandeliers come down. The smoke is spread throughout the main floor. Sounds of goblins, witches and ghosts are heard throughout the club. Brruuuuhahahaha....!! Brruuuuuhahahahahaha....!!!!! Everyone is yelling. They begin to chant: "Elvira! Elvira! Elvira! Elvira! Elvira!" The club is massively loud. "Ladies & gentlemen, boys and girls, girls and girls and boys and boys of all ages. Welcome to The Attic. A world away from home." announces The Master of Ceremonies that came out from the curtain behind the stage.
Tonight, we celebrate life! We celebrate color! We celebrate love! We celebrate for who we are!" Everyone yells! "Tonight, we celebrate with a special, special, special guest, superstar and legend. The queen of macabre. The gothic queen of Halloween. Everybody's dark queen - Eeeeeeeeelvira - Mistress Of The Dark.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The crowd went crazy, loud and everyone was yelling. It looked like the inside of a popcorn machine. Elvira comes down from the ceiling in a rustic black cage with cob webs. It is an extraordinary night. She does some stand up comic and sings two Halloween songs. She also introduces the male strippers as they dance around her as she sits on her blood red, velvet, vintage sofa. This is the best night ever at The Attic. After the show Elvira walks around the club saying hi to the club goers and pose for pictures and gives 8 x 10 portraits of herself with her autograph. Jake, Jeff, Paul and Allen and all of attendees had a blast beyond their wildest dreams. It was sure the best Halloween ever, thus far.  "You bitch! Do you think that anyone is going to hear you? If I were you, I'd save your energy to simply live. You do want to live a little more, don't you? But first, I'm going to have a little fun with you." Do you like to play doctor? How would you like this in you?" There is barn in the outskirts of Freeville. There, something is going to happen that will change the lives of many people. "You and I are going to have fun. If I were you, I'd stop crying. I said, If I were you, I'd stop crying. Do you hear me? You're going to make daddy do things to you. ha ha ha ha ha........ Off goes the shirt. Off goes the belt. Off goes the pants. Off goes the underwear. He reaches out for a shovel. He walks and gets closer. Are you ready for another round? This is going to make hmm - round 20 I think. "Why are you doing this to me? Do you think you are going to get away with this? You are going straight to hell!" she yells in a profound and shaken voice. "I am going to tape your mouth again. You talk too much and I cannot take my chances on someone hearing you even though we are far away from civilization." responds whom she considers a monster, as he bites into an apple and gives her an awful and dreadful facial expression. "Are you ready pretty face?" he asks as he walks towards her with the tape in his hands? "After I tape your beautiful lips again you and I are going to have some more fun. Again, again and again!" he says with a devious smile. Back in the city, the professor is in his classroom at the university writing some notes on the board. He arrives early due to the inclement weather that is expected as per the weather forecast. He looks out the window and can only imagine where his wife, Miranda is at. Beep! Beep! A text enters his cell phone and it reads: "Jake's Cell: Luke- call U later. Paul & I going 2 mall. C-ya." Luke smiles after reading the text from Jake. He looks again out the window and notices that snow begins to fall. The university grounds look beautiful as the snow begins to adorn it in a thin, white silky layer. Knock knock is heard at the door as he continues to write on the board. Though curious to see who it was, Professor Robins did not turn around. "Please take a seat and I'll be right with you." says the professor. "Ok professor! I'll wait for you to finish." is the response that Luke hears as he surprisingly turns around. "Oh my God!" says Professor Luke Robins shockingly. It is early November and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The town looks quite festive as the Christmas lights have already been placed around town. Everyone is walking around town as the light snow continues to fall and the feeling of the holiday is in the air. Jake and Paul go to the mall to do some early holiday shopping. They go to several stores but are not sure exactly what they want to buy. At one of the jewelry stores, Jake gets a good bargain on a beautiful necklace for his mother. Jake also found some fishing gear for his dad at the Sea Dock Inc. Jake is a person who likes to do early shopping and get it out of the way. They both continue to walk around the mall and are enjoying their day. Surprisingly, Jake bumps into his parents at the food court. "Hey mom! What's up dad?" asks Jake as he sees his parents eating at he food court. Jake tells them that he is buying some clothes and other stuff not wanting to hint that he has gifts for both of them in his shopping bag. They talk for a good fifteen minutes. Afterwards, Jake and Paul say goodbye to Jake's parents and decide that it is time to eat. They enjoy a delicious hamburger combo with onion rings and a thick caramel shake. After they finish eating their burger combo, Jake tells Paul that he wants to go to visit his brother Jeff at Computer World where he works. Paul decides to stay behind and goes to the music store to see what CD's and DVD's are out so he can purchase one or two. Paul bumps into Pat at the music store. If only Paul knew that he was about to find out a shocking truth that would stir things and shake up things for several people, including Luke and Jake. After talking for a good length of time and walking around the music store and as Pat and Paul were at the far end of the store browsing through T-shirts, Pat asked Paul, "Paul, did anyone ever find out who left the letter for Professor Robins at his house?" "No. Not that I'm aware of." responds Paul. "Why do you ask?" asks Paul. Pat continues to browse through the T-shirts. She smiles and turns to look at Paul. She gives him a long stare as if she wants for Paul to read her mind. She bites her lip as if she is hesitant in telling him something. "Oh Pat. Please tell me that you didn't. Just tell me. What is it that you want to tell me?" asks Paul. After Jake returned from Computer World Paul told Jake the shocking truth about Pat being the one that wrote the letter. Apparently, Pat was trying to help Jake in getting him together with Luke by causing problems with Miranda and Luke and hoping that Miranda would read the letter. "Miranda? Where in God's earth have you been?" asks Luke. "You have no idea what I have been going through. I thought you were dead. I, I, I, didn't know what to think. Your parents did not know where you were. Why did you leave? What games are you playing? asks Luke as Miranda walks towards the window and looks outside. She stays quiet and listens. "Miranda, where were you? Where did you go? Who were you with? I deserve to know all of this. I deserve to know the truth?" asks Luke as he looks at the time on his watch. "Is it something I have done? Tell me. I need to know Miranda. I need to know now!" exclaimed Luke. As tears roll down her eyes, Miranda turns towards him and says, "Luke," she takes a long pause and turns around and looks out the window again, "There is someone else. I am sorry. I am terribly sorry Luke." she says as she turns around again. Luke is numb. He is shocked. He is in dismay because he was the one that wanted to tell Miranda about his feelings towards Jake, and now this. "Aren't you going to say something Luke?" asks Miranda. He looks down. For the first time, Professor Luke Robins is at a loss for words. "I don't even know where to begin. Do I know this person? asks Luke. "It doesn't matter." responds Miranda. "Luke, I know. I know Luke." says Miranda as she caresses his face. "I never ever intended to hurt you as I know you did not intend to hurt me." Miranda tells her husband. I've known for sometime now. I've seen what you have in the closet Luke. It is beautiful. That was the day when I realized that you and I had to take a little time away. I know that you and Jake are in love. I know I did it the wrong way by leaving, but I did not know how else to do it and for that Luke, I am so sorry. I am so sorry I went about it this way. I can only imagine the pain, the late awakened nights I might of caused you. Please accept my apology. And I am sorry for telling all my friends and my parents to tell you that they had not seen me. But, I am sure that you had Jake to comfort you while I was away or am I wrong?" asks Miranda. "Yes! He was here for me. And I appreciate him and love him for that. Miranda, I love him. I am in love with Jake Raimins." responds Luke. Miranda gets close to Luke and places her hand in the air as if she is going to slap him but slaps him in a very slow motion kind of way and simply taps him on his cheek and hugs him. Luke begins to cry like a little boy and tells his wife, "Oh Miranda. Baby. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I've been wanting to tell you." says Luke as Miranda replies, "I have been wanting to tell you too." stated Miranda. Beep! Beep! A text enters his cell phone and it reads: "Jake's Cell: Luke! I have 2 talk 2 U - URGENT! call me after class." Luke asks, "Miranda, so you never saw a letter at the house? A letter that was written for me." Confusingly, Miranda answers, "What letter?" Luke places his hands over his eyes and wonders who could've written the letter and for what? Miranda never saw the letter and Luke thought the letter was the reason Miranda had left him in the first place. What now? Miranda asks Luke, "When are you going to give Jake what is in the closet? I am more than sure that he will appreciate it more than you will ever know?" Miranda turns around and leaves the classroom. The students begin to walk in and quickly, Luke calls Jake to tell him that he will be at his condo as soon as class is over. Jake is at his condo cleaning his bedroom. He receives a phone call from Tricia. "Hello Tricia?" Where the hell have you been? You have not answered my calls in days." asks Jake. "Jake I am so sorry. I have had some things to sort out and well, I need to talk to you. I promise to tell you everything then. Can I come over?" asks Tricia. Jake wanted to tell her that tonight was not a good idea because he wanted to tell Luke the truth about Pat being the one that wrote the letter. Still, Jake told Tricia, "Yeah! Come on over later on tonight. I will be here waiting for you." says Jake. Tricia is at a friend's house and asks her is she can take a warm bathe. She is sitting up against the old boarded barn wall as he gets closer to her with the tape in his hands. He reaches over and just as he is about to tape her mouth, she kicks his testicles and giving a loud shout and grasping for air, he falls to the ground. She then kicks his face several times. Finally, her arms are untied. She uses a nail that is sticking out at the bottom of the wall to cut the tape around her wrists. You are not going to get away with it! She kicks his ribs repeatedly and hits him on the head with an old pail of paint. He is knocked out. She runs out of the barn for safety in the still of the night. It is dark. She has no idea where she is at. She has no idea where to run too. She begins to run towards the sound of vehicles. Finally, she sees light. "Heeelp me! Help me!" she screams. In the distance she can hear the sounds of waves crashing onto a seashore and the sounds of sea gulls flying over her. She then realizes which way of the interstate to run towards too. Back at Jake's condo, Luke arrives. As soon as Jake opens the door, Jake reaches out for Luke and kisses him passionately for a long time. "Wow! Now that is one heck of a hello!" says Luke. They both laughed. "I have some bitter sweet news for you Jake." says Luke. "I think I have to go first Luke. What I have to tell you is very, very important and you really need to know." says Jake. "No Jake! What I have to tell you is what I think both you and I have been waiting for. Miranda knows. Miranda knows. Miranda knows about you and I Jake." says Luke to Jake. "What?" asks Jake surprisingly. "What do you mean Miranda knows exactly about you and I Luke. Explain." states Jake in confusion. "Miranda came to my classroom today. She was at a friend's house all this time. She told me that she had known about you and I for sometime now. And get this, she is also having an affair! Can you believe that?" asks Luke. Both of us have been torn between two people, two lovers! I know it sounds confusing, but I believe it is the best for both of us. Aren't you going to say anything?" asks Luke. "Oh, and get this, she never saw the letter. I wonder if she even was the one who wrote it herself?" asks Luke. "That is why I wanted you to come over Luke. I know who wrote the letter. I know who wrote the freaking letter and it wasn't your wife like you think it was. It was Pat. Pat wrote the letter because she wanted to help you and me get together by causing marital problems between you and Miranda. But I guess Miranda was already seeing someone else. So Miranda must of had left home before Pat left the letter for you at your home and never read it which only made you think Miranda had left because of the letter. What a mess!" "So, what does this mean Professor?" asks Jake. "You tell me Mr. Raimens." replies Luke. They both kiss each other and after a few moments they walk over to the kitchen for a glass of water. "Who is this guy Miranda has been with?" asks Jake. "She didn't mention it. She said I did not know that person and quite honestly, I don't want to know. I just left it at that Jake." responds Luke. What a night. Jake and Luke are happy because they now feel like everything is 'almost' out in the open. They can go now and continue a long lasting relationship. "Luke, I am so sorry about your marriage, I really am. I just wish things would not of had been so dramatic. They both smile and kiss each other again. They go outside onto the lanai. "Jake I promise you! This I promise you Jake. I will always - always be faithful to you no matter what for as long as we're together." says Luke to Jake as they kiss each other. Suddenly, there is ring at the door. "That must be Tricia." says Jake to Luke. Luke goes to the restroom as Jake welcomes Tricia and sit in the living room. "Dam girl! Where the heck have you gone too? You have not returned my calls. I have not spoken to you in days, it's like you disappeared as Miranda did." says Jake to Tricia. "What do you mean like Miranda?" asks Tricia. "Never mind. She's home and that is what counts." responds Jake. "So, Tricia, I'm intrigued to know what it is you want to tell me and where you went. Details! Give me details girl because I have the best news in the world to tell you. The best news ever, this is the best day of my life Tricia, but you go first." says Jake. "I left because I needed time to think and collect my thoughts. You see, I skipped my period. I took a pregnancy test - three times. All three times it came out positive. Jake, I'm pregnant." says Tricia. "Oh my God Tricia, I don't know what to say? I didn't even know you were seeing someone. Oh my - Trish sweet Trish, who would've known that you'd be a mom one day. I guess congratulations are in order." responds Jake. Tricia smiles and hugs Jake. "Thank you Jake. It means a lot to me that you're happy for me. You are my best friend and the best boyfriend, well - ex-boyfriend any girl could ever ask for." responded Tricia. "But I have one other thing to tell you." says Tricia. At this time Luke comes out of the restroom and is in the hall. As he is about to walk around the corner he over hears Tricia talking to Jake. "You see Jake it is a little more complicated. She looks down. Think back to university night. Jake, I am pregnant with your baby. You are going to be a father!"
